Community Service Award

Chamber members do much by way of serving the community in which they live and earn livelihoods. The Spirit of our community would be sadly lacking without their continued interest and support. With this in mind, it is once again time to send in your nominations for the annual Greater Crown Point Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award, to be presented at the Installation Banquet .

As those to be considered for this award will be named by you, our members, we ask that you give careful consideration to the following criteria in making your nominations.

1. Performance or outstanding work in the interest of the Chamber and the community.
2. Civic activities which do the greatest good for the largest number of people.
3. Service and leadership which exemplifies the Chamber's role in the community.

Beautification Awards

The Beautification Committee recognizes new and renovated structures and landscaping, which have occurred during the current or the prior calendar year for a Crown Point businesses. This program is intended to encourage the business community to continue to enhance the physical appearance of their establishments. We ask the help and cooperation of the citizens of Crown Point as well as the Chamber members to make recommendations to the Beautification Committee for these awards.

The nominations will include judging for three separate awards to be given. One award is for new construction, one for a renovated business structure and the last for redesigning the business landscaping appearance. The following awards will be given at the Installation Banquet:

1. Landscaping
2. New Construction
3. Renovations
