
Crown Point is happy to have so many very active and healthy Civic Organizations that participate in the welfare of the community. Some of the organizations are Rotary, Lions Club, Masonic Temple, Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Kappa-Kappa-Kappa Sorority, Beta Sigma Phi and Psi Iota XI sorority. There is a very active American Legion, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the VFW. Our community is very fortunate to have a Crown Point Community Foundation that receives the needs of many organizations. The Crown Point Community Foundation is a not for profit organization that was established in 1990. The Foundation serves as a facilitator for community good, builds endowments, allocates grants and awards scholarships to better serve Crown Point and South Lake County Area in Indiana.
Civic Clubs are funded by private, corporate and organizational donations. All gifting is tax deductible. Funding is provided for the following areas: Arts and Culture, Community Development, Education and Health and Human Services.
